A description of the laboratory and how the experiment works can be found below. In the background on the right on an adjustable tripod is a 9-volt portable piezo film TK detector. It is sensitive, but not as sensitive as having a connection to an oscilloscope. The piezo film sensor on the portable detector triggers a red LED and audible alarm. Custom-cut viscoelastic Sorbothane pads dampen seismic disturbances. Heavy concrete blocks provide a stable base. Bare wood, floor, and walls allow for easier inspection by scientific witnesses. The oscilloscope's power transformer was removed and isolated underneath as an added protection from micro vibrations. This is one of the few full-scale telekinesis laboratories ever known to have existed and hopefully a useful model for future ones. |
telekinesis (TK): The ability to cause at a distance by cerebral-generated motive power the movement or control of matter or energy, inclusively or exclusively, solids, liquids, gases, plasmas, subparticles of atoms, particles or molecules of matter, or particles or waves of energy. "Motive power" refers to an emission or projection from the brain-mind that acts upon or interacts with the atoms of a distant object causing an effect of repulsion, attraction, stasis, lift, or disintegration. My hypotheses for the method of projection resulting in the observed telekinetic effect include:From what I have learned in my research, whether willfully intended or occurring spontaneously, the subconscious mind plays a role in triggering the effect. Other parapsychological and paraphysics researchers have also proposed this relationship, especially in spontaneous cases, and brain-mind researchers have found that the subconscious is very active on its own.
- Brain-mind-initiated teleportation of electrons out of or into the atoms of target matter, beginning with the surface layer atoms. 1 2
- Brain-mind-initiated teleportation of a human consciousness field around the exterior of a target or merged with it.

"The brain appears to use the very same neural circuits to execute an unconscious act as it does a conscious one. ... In several studies, researchers have also shown that, once covertly activated, an unconscious goal persists with the same determination that is evident in our conscious pursuits." In my hypothesis, 1 I propose that circulating iron in the blood near magnetite 1 2 3 deposits in the brain may be involved in the creation of the energy that initiates the teleportation in conjunction with the conscious, preconscious, or subconscious mind. Also involved could be blood vessels in the brain in just the right formation or place to assist in the process. Certain individuals who are going through an evolutionary transition process may be genetically prone to safely exist with both increased iron levels in the blood and brain and a high concentration of magnetite in the brain. This is my current hypothesisa proposed scientific answer to the mystery. I am not stating it as scientific fact. More research and testing needs to be done. I am revealing some of my research here, but I am not making public everything I know for proprietary reasons. Effect levels: micro TK, macro TK.

Nobel Prize Winner Supports Psychokinesis Research "In their paper Biological Utilization of Quantum Nonlocality, published in Foundations in Physics in 1991, [Nobel Prize winning physicist] Brian Josephson and Fotini Pallikara-Viras cautiously floated the idea of the phenomenon of quantum entanglement, which Einstein famously dismissed as 'spooky action at a distance' as a possible mechanism for telepathy [and psychokinesis]. ... In brief, Josephson and Pallikari-Viras say that it is not impossible that the existence of 'remote influences' suggested by quantum theory (where say, the quantum state of an object like an electron or photon, say, its spin or polarization, may correlate over arbitrarily large distances after they have been split apart) may indicate that the same effect could lie behind the direct connection of minds (telepathy) and between mind and matter (telekinesis)."

psychokinesis (PK): The ability to cause at a distance or by physical touch using the mind's consciously or subconsciously activated will power or imagination the extraordinarily profound movement or manipulation of matter, energy, or events. Psychokinesis is the general term that includes telekinesis and other supermind control of matter and energy abilities, such as the ability to soften or bend metal, phase through matter, heal, etc. Effect levels: micro PK, macro PK, RSPK (recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis). 1
psychokinetic: 1. Of or pertaining to psychokinesis. 2. An individual who possesses the ability of psychokinesis. Alternate names:It is apparent, however, that the energy in its earliest form is able to safely pass through the originating source of the brain, skull, eyes, skin, etc. Japanese scientists have already proven with the invention of the MEG machine) that, in everyone, low-level magnetic energy fields are emitted by the brain through the skull into open space at various points around the head and can be measured, so it is possible for energy, other than normal thermal energy, to pass through the skull. Teleportation has also been successfully demonstrated and repeated by physicists in the laboratory, but not yet by psychic means.

(term coined by JAC February 15, 2005) ARTICLE: Humans are evolving at a faster rate than at any time in history.
Experiments on living targets. Two types of plants that I experimented unsuccessfully with in the early 1990s were the Sensitive Plant and the Venus Fly Trap. These plants require a higher and sudden level of telekinetic or psychokinetic ability to cause a reactiontheir leaves fold inward when touched lightly. If the applied force is similar to a gentle breeze or an agitation of the air from an insect flying very near it, they will not respond. But they are very interesting living test instruments in that they provide a macro visual response to an external stimulus and are easy to control in a laboratory setting. They are not micro TK detectors. They are living macro telekinesis detectors that will trigger at a minimum macro level of power; that is, at a power level that can produce an effect observable without the need for optical magnification or magnification by an electronic instrument.

Hands and No-Hands Telekinesis. If an arm and hand are held out, energy generated in the brain could hypothetically by some means not yet fully understood accumulate along the body and discharge in that way. We do know that the hand can act as a discharge point for static electricity. Perhaps the brain in some evolutionarily advanced individuals can generate an unusually strong energy field that is then carried to the outer surface of the body and discharged in the nearest straight line to a target. In Hollywood movies, however, the use of a hand in telekinesis and other forms of PK is often done for dramatic purposes so that the audience can understand which character is the source of the ability and where it is being targeted. In real life, telekinesis has also been reported without the use of hands and that is the method tested in my laboratory. Below are examples of telekinesis and psychokinesis in fiction.

![]() In the above photograph from the movie X2: X-Men United, the fictional character Magneto is able to psychokinetically generate and regulate the strength and placement of magnetic fields, and in so doing, control the movement of objects affected by them. Objects that are more easily magnetized, such as those containing proportionately large amounts of iron, are subject to greater control of movement by his ability. He is able to levitate himself through a more energy-consuming process called diamagnetic levitation. In this scene, the blood of the guard (actor Ty Olsson) had been secretly enhanced the night before with an injected magnetic solution (ostensibly involving iron, possibly a standard paramagnetic contrasting agent used in medical MRI scanning or one containing ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide) while unconscious by Magneto's accomplice Mystique, making him easier to control the next day by Magneto's magnetic mental power when he entered his plastic prison cell. However, one could wonder how the guard was able to pass through the facility's metal detector when he arrived for work that morning (perhaps Mystique had deactivated it). Iron in the body. Normally, circulating and stored iron in the body is only extemely weakly magnetizable because of the way it is paired with other atoms in chemical compounds. However, the situation changes in individuals with iron overload disease. Those afflicted can be unaware that they have so much excess iron in their body that they can set off a walk-through metal detector. Excess iron in the body shows up as dark areas on a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan. 1 (For a little more information on excess body iron and metal detectors see the book The Iron Disorders Institute Guide to Hemochromatosis, 2004.) 1 and for research on how the brain regulates iron, including how the blood-brain barrier may prevent sudden excess iron from reaching the brain, see the work of American scientist James Connor 1. See also the research work of American scientist Thomas C. Skalak on the effect of magnetism on blood vessels in rats 1.) It may be and it is my current position that, due to increasingly stressful conditions in the industrialized world, where iron deficiency is not a significant problem, an evolutionary transition is taking place and some humans have acquired or were born with the ability to cope with higher iron levels in the brain than those who are less protected. There are those can smoke cigarettes their entire adult life and live past 100 (I have never smoked). Some parapsychologists and paraphysics researchers believe that everyone has psychokinetic ability, even at just a very low level. I prefer to believe, however, in support of my hypothesis, that since 3.5 billion of the world's population is iron deficient 1, making it the most common nutritional deficiency on Earth 1, that psychokinesis is presenting itself here and there in certain individualsevolution at work. In my research work, I neither had iron overload disease or iron deficiency, just a higher level of iron in my system still within a normal acceptable range depending on the lab doing the test (see link to blood test evidence at bottom of page). |

My website address www.jamesaconrad.com appears on the sign attached to the monitor and shelf. The floor of the laboratory was bare concrete to eliminate static electricity effects and the walls were bare also to make it easier for skeptical observers to search the room. I am standing four feet from the sensor in stocking feet. My 30-30-30 experiment protocol required the videorecording of 30 seconds of front comparison footage of the oscilloscope waveform, 30 seconds of telekinesis activation attempt, followed by 30 seconds of back comparison footage while standing motionless and breathing slowly. A disturbance in the waveform during the middle 30 second period would indicate that a possible effect had taken place. The experiment was repeated in numerous runs using the same protocol and the results examined by playing back the footage. The waveform is slightly bent at the high magnification setting used. I am watching the clock display on an offcamera Super-VHS video recorder count the first 30 seconds. In a modern lab setup today, of course, I would use the latest digital equipment. |
Positive results of no-hands telekinesis at the micro level were consistently observed only in the middle 30 seconds of footage and from distances of up to 25-feet away (my test space limitation). The effect was repeatable enough that I regularly recorded over past experiments to save the cost of expensive S-VHS blank tapes. During this time of research I was experimenting with methods (mental and biological) to boost the ability to a more dramatic level before inviting in witnesses from the skeptics' organization to which I belonged. As you know, skeptics of the paranormal would prefer to consider evidence that is the most extraordinary possible. I directed my efforts toward that goal.
Unknown to me, however, also during this time, because of a vegetarian diet that I had begun on March 12, 1997 (the reason for which was also connected to my research), I was gradually losing the high iron levels in my body (45.8% loss of serum iron by October 1999). Due to the depletion of circulating and stored iron in my particular physiology, I hypothesize that I lost the ability to exert a mind-brain-generated influence on the hanging piezo film sensor and other targets without the use of hands and at a distance. It was the sudden failing of the ability that caused me to go back through my blood tests, discover the iron loss, and form my hypothesis. The human body absorbs iron more easily from meat sources, as opposed to from plant sources. See heme iron versus nonheme iron.
Confident that I had the luxury of time on my side with repeatable micro-telekinesis evidence, I opted to seek a level of "extraordinary proof" that would have approached the level of repeatable macro-telekinesis (observable with the unaided eye). Scientific research does not always work out as intended. I hope to resume my research again someday.
The telekinesis detector seen in the photographs on this page was so sensitive that the mere touch of a human hair on the piezo film would cause the waveform reading to go off the scale and bounce up and down wildly. The touch of a human hair is about 25,000 times lighter than the weight of a U.S. penny (I made a measurement comparison using a sensitive laboratory-grade digital balance). This truly was a micro telekinesis detector.
